How to apply for Reception Class at St Joseph’s Primary school for 2024/25
If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 they will be due to start school in reception class in the academic year 2024/25.
Information about applying for a school place in 24/25 is available on Southwark council’s website which will give you all the information you will need.
Main Steps
- You will need to complete a Southwark Council application form which will be available online at http://www.southwark.gov.uk/schools-and-education/school-admissions
- You will also need to complete St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School supplementary information form (available on our website) and return it to the school .
- If you are a Catholic family you and your priest will also need to complete part 2 section 1 of the supplementary form and return to the school along with a copy of your child's baptism certificate .
- If you are a member of another faith you will need to complete part 2 section 2 of the supplementary form and return to the school along with any relevant proof of practice.
The parish priest at St Peter’s and the Guardian Angels and also the parish priest of St Gertrude’s will be happy for you to arrange a time to meet regarding the Supplementary form.
