Sensory Room

As part of our offer for children with additional needs, we have installed a sensory room. This is accessed by children on a timetabled basis as part of their daily provision.

Our Sensory Room is a calming area and helps with sensory integration. It also provides a great inclusion space that all students can explore together.

Sensory spaces allow students to learn at their own pace and develop skills without pressure, while encouraging them to express themselves in an effective, gentle way, and helping them learn how to manage their own emotions
